Well, after what seems like an eternity we are open again. We actually opened on Palm Sunday and our Easter Sunday service was very well supported and truly ecumenical. Our Sunday services continue to be held on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at 10am and are communion services. We also have a communion service on 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. You will be most welcome at any service, just remember to wear a mask!!!
On Saturday 18th September we are having a churchyard clean-up.
Unfortunately we don’t have a vicar at the moment so myself (Karen) and the team will be only too happy to be a listening ear or help you to pray during these uncertain times.
The world seems to have gone crazy and the coronavirus situation is pushing many to their limits. Not knowing which way to turn.
Please be assured that although the church is closed for services, we are here should you need prayer or someone to talk to or a helping hand.
Scriptures to live by:
1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Maybe you are wondering where God is in all of this?
Rest assured, God feels every pain that you and I feel. When Jesus’s friend Lazarus died, Jesus wept. He felt pain, he did then he does now.
Look out for one another. Do an act of kindness everyday. Remember the commandment ‘Love your neighbour as yourself?’
